Join us on Tuesday, January 6th for our first monthly meeting of 2009! Mississauga Bassmasters' meeting venue is the Thirsty Penquin Sports Bar (inside the Canlan Ice Sports Arena) in Oakville, ON. Congratulations to Harvey Beck, our three-peat Angler of the Year for 2008 plus recipient of the OBF 2008 Lowrance Angler of the Year award! The 2008 Member of the Year is Leonard Eng who captured this award for the fourth time! Stay tuned for the announcement of the Long Line Release Award recipient...plus the names of the 11 members who achieved Honour Group status... Many thanks to all the volunteers who came out to the 2008 Annual Mississauga Santa Claus Parade through beautiful downtown Streetsville, ON. Event photos have been posted. The new Spring Fishing & Boat Show will be held at the International Centre in Mississauga on February 13-16th, 2009. Plan now to attend this event for hardcore anglers. Wanting to join a local bass fishing club as a newbie, seasoned pro, or just an amateur? Feel at home at any angling level and come on out to a meeting in 2009! We will have an action packed program in the coming year.
