It was a pleasure to welcome our May 6th monthly meeting guests Mike & Mary Nabulsi of Bass Magnet Lures! Many of us took the opportunity to stock up on those special lures for the upcoming fishing season.Saturday, June 7th on Lake Muskoka will be the site of our club Pike Tournament. Deadline to sign up will be our June 3rd meeting of the month where the topic will be Boater & Non-Boater Etiquette. Bring along your fishing tackle for our annual Club Tackle Swap. Our club accepted an invitation from Caledon East Cub Pack to hold a fishing seminar for over 30 enthusiastic youth. Click here to view the May 4th event summary. Club members participated in a conservation event sponsored by the CVC on April 12th. Although it rained, it didn't dampen the spirits of those that came out to help clean up Rattray Marsh. Great job volunteers! The OBFN Hank Gibson Memorial Provincial Qualifier will be held on Lake Simcoe/Lake Couchiching on August 23rd & 24th. The early bird deadline is quickly approaching. View the entry form. Big Brothers Big Sisters of York will hold their "Catch a Dream!" event on Saturday, June 28th out of Couchiching Beach Park in Orillia, ON. Boaters are needed! With the higher value of the Canadian dollar, now is the time to ensure that you have a valid BASS Membership. This enrolment is in addition to your local Mississauga Bassmasters annual club membership dues. Barrie Junior Bassmasters have set their 2008 tournament dates and are looking for boaters!
