Mississauga Bassmasters

Mississauga Bassmasters is one of the largest clubs of the 25 Chapters in the Ontario B.A.S.S. Federation Nation.

The Mississauga Bassmasters club is comprised of boaters & non-boaters, with progressive angling skills from beginner to successful pro-angler.

Club meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month from 7:30 p.m. to approximately 10:00 p.m.

Please come, join in on a meeting and find out what we are all about.  Learn for yourself just why we are Ontario's Premier Bass fishing club. Guests or new members are always welcome to attend.

Charitable Initiatives

For the last 13 years Mississauga Bassmasters has raised money and food donations for charities in Southern Ontario including Foodpath Peel, Interim Place, and the Mississauga Credit Valley Hospital.

For 2008, Mississauga Bassmasters is proud to continue with our club members' strong belief in helping out surrounding communities.  Our focus this year is "The Weekend to End Breast Cancer".

Barrie Junior Bassmasters was our 2007 funding raising recipient with a $100 donation towards helping youth in the Junior Bassmasters program.

In December 2005, special prizes were donated by Johnson Outdoors Canada Inc. and Matzuo America for a fund raising draw.  A total of $550.00 was raised for the Mississauga Credit Valley Hospital Foundation, Paediatric Unit.

Thanks to you, our club was able to present the cheque to Suzanne Hallsworth, Development Manager, Communications for the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation.  Also in attendance at the gift presentation on March 6, 2006 was Tina Triano, Vice President of the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation.

Mississauga Bassmasters is a non-profit organization, and as such, we derive all of our operating funds from club members through annual membership dues, tournament fees, and fund-raising events.  A monthly raffle prize table is available to meeting attendees.
